Sweet Face

This is a really fun piece. The font is like a picture frame with a sealed paper image of a cute pink haired skull, I added lots of girly hearts in the clay.
On the back I used a rubber stamp for the word Sweet and used a sharp pointy tool to engrave the rest of the words.
This is the left over piece from where the picture is placed on the front of the piece, I drilled a hole and attached a jump ring and use it as a layering piece with the other pendant. I wear this piece as a choker and the other pendant on a long hot pink ball chain.
And here are the two pieces shown together. Special thanks to Roxy for modeling, she always makes me laugh!

Twister

This is a spiral chainmaille bracelet, you don't use a clasp, you just roll it on! This is also a good layering piece. It was fun & easy, it went really quick.

Heart in Heart

This was a class where we learned to make a mirror image finish on a piece. I did pretty good, no matter what angle I was at or how I took the photo I could not get a good shot without having a refection of myself on the piece! This is a good layering piece.

Crowned Skull

I like the piece a lot, although I used a mold to create it, it took quite a bit of work to get to the finished state. Most of my pieces have a heart in the design somewhere if not, I'm usually putting one on the back of the pieces.

arrrhhh.....Surrender Your Booty!

One Sunday afternoon Troy & I went to a movie, after we got out of the movie I saw a sign on a store that said "The Artful Potter". Anything with the words Art, Craft, Creative, Hardware, Tools, etc always catch my eye & I had to check it out. It turned out to be a ceramics shop. You could choose any item, paint it, they would fire it and you could pick it up a couple 0f days later.

Those of you that have known me since childhood, know that me & my sis did lots of ceramic pieces in 4H Club. It had been years since I had even stepped foot into a ceramics shop, so of course I got all excited and made Troy stay and do a project with me.

I choose to make a "girly" skull(imagine that), complete with a pink star eye patch and Troy made a water bowl for "The boys". They both turned out quite well & we had fun too!

......oh and the bandanna lifts off of the skull and inside it says: "Surrender Your Booty" & around the outside of the water dish it says: Otis "Little Boy" Elvis "Piggy".......
